Job description

Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator
Lewisville, TX 75057
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a smooth flow of inventory through shipping and receiving operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials

  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements

  • Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for shipment or storage

  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using AS400 or other MRP systems; inspect for damages or discrepancies

  • Stock and organize inventory in designated areas for efficient access

  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling of outgoing shipments

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform routine equipment inspections

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment

  • Must have Forklift Certifications

  • Familiarity with WMS, RF scanners, AS400, and MRP systems preferred

  • Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, order picking/packing, and inventory control

  • Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

  • E-commerce fulfillment experience is a plus
