Position Summary

Hotel Arya is looking for a polished, guest-focused Front Desk Agent to be the face of our boutique hotel in Miami.

In this role, you will create welcoming first and last impressions, manage check-ins and check-outs, support reservations, respond to guest needs, and help keep daily front desk operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and takes pride in delivering 5-star guest experiences.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome guests warmly and complete check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently

  • Serve as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and concerns

  • Manage reservations, room assignments, guest profiles, and special requests using Visual Matrix PMS

  • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate billing records

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction

  • Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, email, and in person

  • Handle guest complaints and service recovery situations with empathy and confidence

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area

  • Uphold Hotel Arya’s brand standards in appearance, communication, and guest interaction

  • Support upselling opportunities for room upgrades, amenities, and hotel services

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of front desk, guest services, or hospitality experience

  • Experience with property management systems or similar hotel software

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Basic math and cash handling accuracy

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • A hospitality or tourism degree is a plus
