Job description

American Eagle Ready Mix UT | Full-Time

American Eagle Ready Mix is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to support our growing Quanta Concrete Solutions (QCS) project team. This position is responsible for processing accounts payable for multiple out-of-town (OTR) projects while working closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Accounting to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

  • Process and code vendor invoices for multiple construction projects.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure proper approvals and accurate job cost coding.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements.
  • Maintain organized financial records and vendor files.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and project reporting.
  • Communicate with vendors, Project Managers, and internal departments regarding invoice and payment questions.
  • Support the Accounting team with additional projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred.
  • Construction, project accounting, or ready-mix/concrete industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP software is preferred.
