WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting for a talented professional to join its team as a Clinical Therapist. This position is located in the Clinical Services Division serving clients in the Outpatient Integrated Services Clinic. The Outpatient Clinic is a state-certified treatment facility located on the second floor of the Human Services Center and operates on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Licensed clinicians provide individual, group, and family-focused services to residents across the lifespan experiencing emotional disturbances, behavioral difficulties, substance use, mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders.

  • LCSW/LPC and Substance Use dual licensure preferred.
  • Selected candidate must be willing to work up to two (2) evenings a week.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a master's degree in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational,) counseling and guidance, social work or closely related area.
2. Candidates must have Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor in Training, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Training, status as a minimum.
3. Two (2) years of post bachelor work experience in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational), counseling and guidance, social work or closely related area.
