Position Summary:  

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first impression of Mountain View Pain Center and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient patient experience. This role supports clinic operations by managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, coordinating care, and ensuring clear communication across departments. 

You’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone—while maintaining accurate records, handling insurance information, and supporting smooth daily clinic operations. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion 
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using clinic software systems 
  • Answer incoming calls and provide accurate, timely information to patients and callers 
  • Make outbound calls to reschedule appointments and meet minimum call attempt expectations 
  • Coordinate appointment transitions for patients with multiple same-day visits 
  • Facilitate Uber transportation for Personal Injury (PI) patients when needed 
  • Collect and verify insurance information and process payments as required 
  • Scan, upload, and maintain accurate patient documentation 
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with clinical and administrative teams 
  • Notify medical staff of patient arrivals and support patient flow throughout the clinic 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front reception area 
  • Support general administrative tasks as assigned 

Minimum Experience & Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred 
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a medical receptionist in a fast paced environment 
  • Minimum 1 year experience with medical scheduling 
  • Strong customer service skills and patient-first mindset 
  • Proficient computer and typing skills 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred 
  • Access to reliable transportation 
  • Ability to pass a TB Test

Compensation & Schedule 

Pay Range: $18.00 - 19.00 per hour 
Job Type: Full-time 
Work Location: Clinic Name — 100% onsite/in-person 
Hours: 

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM; 1:30 PM–5:30 PM 
  • Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
