Job description

Acquisition Logistics Analyst
The Opportunity:
As an acquisition logistics analyst, you know the importance of delivering strategic, data-driven logistics solutions that enable product success and long-term sustainability. On our team, you'll play an essential role in lifecycle logistics to support critical national defense missions.
As an acquisition logistics analyst, you'll plan and execute data-driven strategies to support maritime operations. Your duties include managing data updates, rebuilding formulas, creating dynamic Excel tools with pivot tables and charts, and guiding a multi-location team on projects that modernize logistics and production. These efforts improve product distribution, inventory, and overall warfighting capabilities.
You'll collaborate closely with clients and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders worldwide, promoting better communication and workflow. You will become deeply familiar with the policies, guidelines, and procedures necessary to ensure quality as you shape and implement innovative logistics solutions within a Navy major program office.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience serving in or supporting the U.S. Navy
  • 2+ years of experience with Naval program, operations, and logistics management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy Combat Systems Life cycle management and product support principles, concepts, and practices
  • Knowledge of predictive analysis and modeling tools, including cost-benefit analysis and return on investment (ROI) calculations
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with NAVSEA Integrated Warfare Systems
  • Experience with product support manager functions, including acquisition support, supply support and outfitting, maintenance and readiness support, lifecycle solutions, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) program management and analysis, and Human Systems Integration (HSI) analysis or training
  • Experience with program management of major ACAT programs
  • Experience with the PPBE cycle
  • Experience authoring and supporting logistics documents to support program milestones, including lifecycle sustainment plan, maintenance plan, and training plans
  • Experience with the Navy Modernization Process (NMP)
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP or DAWIA PM Level II or III Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
