Job Description Job Title: Physical Access Control Systems Field Administrator - Hiring FAST. Industry: Utility Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Rate: $40/HR on W2 Only - NO C2C Setting: Onsite Required (Hybrid/Remote is NOT an Option) Duration: 12+ months Job ID: 247556 Required Qualifications: Experience supporting physical security systems in a field environment. Experience with video management systems and security-related integrations.

Familiarity with AC&C, Vidulon, or comparable physical security and video management platforms. Experience coordinating systems integrators, contractors, construction teams, or field vendors. Ability to represent the organization professionally when working with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Comfortable working independently at substations, construction sites, and other operational facilities. Ability to lead safety briefings and follow established site-safety procedures. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle .

Desired Qualifications: Previous experience supporting a utility or similarly regulated, safety-sensitive organization. Experience with enterprise physical security infrastructure, server replacements, or system modernization projects. Knowledge of physical access control, video surveillance, networking, servers, and integrated security systems.

General construction oversight or project closeout experience. Candidates located in the Greater Carolinas region are strongly preferred. Responsibilities: Coordinate field activities involving physical access control, video management systems, and related security technology.

Represent the client during on-site installation and systems integration work. Provide hands-on guidance and oversight to systems integrators, contractors, and other field personnel. Support the enterprise-wide replacement of approximately 106 servers by the end of the year.

Oversee general construction and contractor activities related to physical security installations. Lead or participate in required site safety briefings. Monitor installation progress and help address field-related issues.

Support project closeout, system testing, and confirmation that installed technology is functioning properly. Work inside substations and other active utility environments while following all site-specific safety requirements. Adapt to changing responsibilities as the project expands and evolves.
