As a Security Guard Full Time Access Control Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous assistance to travelers, visitors, and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and governmental facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned airport property, terminal areas, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Support access control activities by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as assigned, and directing visitors and vehicles in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
