Responsibilities & Requirements

The 3D Imaging Specialist performs reconstruction of images from MRI, CT scan, and angiography. This position requires advanced knowledge in cross sectional and vascular anatomy. The 3 D Imaging Specialist has the ability to interact well with various staff and physicians. He/she acts as a liaison between software companies, Information Systems, referring physicians and the 3D lab. The 3 D imaging Specialist trains/precepts technologists and various clinical and medical students in 3 D reconstruction and supervises staff for the 3 D modality.

Minimum Education

  • Graduate from a 2-4 year credited Radiology program from and accredited college or university

Required Licenses

  • Possesses a current license as a State of Ohio Radiographer
  • Registered with the ARRT in diagnostic Radiology with additional modality registries preferred.

Required Skills

  • The 3 D Specialist has the ability to teach precept, assess and evaluate 3 D technologists' skills
  • The 3 D Specialist performs time management and maintains productivity
  • The 3 D Specialist communicates and presents 3 D findings and processes on an individual and larger audience level
  • The 3 D Specialist has the ability to deal tactfully and professional, with others
  • The 3 D Specialist has the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiate independent actions
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in CT scan, Angio or Cath lab 
  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred
