Job description

The Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled board-certified or board-eligible pediatric radiologist to join our experienced and collaborative team in a pediatric evening teleradiology role. This position requires fellowship training in pediatric radiology and offers the opportunity to work in a highly supportive virtual environment focused on excellent patient care and strong teamwork.

The successful candidate will interpret both STAT and routine pediatric imaging studies from the Cleveland Clinic as well as our contract sites.

Current coverage hours are 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST. We are seeking someone who can commit to a part-time position of 0.5 FTE or greater. Our preferred schedule is 7 days on followed by 7 days off (0.67 FTE), though we are open to considering alternative arrangements.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training in pediatric radiology

The Position

About the Team

The pediatric teleradiology service currently includes 6 overnight pediatric radiologists and 4 second-shift pediatric radiologists. The pediatric teleradiology service is part of a comprehensive Cleveland Clinic radiology division composed of both general and subspecialized radiologists who provide remote after-hours teleradiology coverage.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, welcoming virtual workplace that values communication, professionalism, and team-oriented collaboration along with reasonable volume expectations. Our pediatric teleradiology team enjoys collegial relationships with our in-house pediatric radiologists at Cleveland Clinic and referring physicians.

Technology & Support

Teleradiologists are equipped with a PACS (Agfa EI) station, dedicated phone line, EMR (EPIC) access, Powerscribe, and 24/7 IT support. Direct two-way communication with colleagues, referring physicians, technologists, and IT staff is facilitated through dedicated navigators for provider/site communications and integrated messaging applications.

Location & Licensure

This opportunity is available with residence in the lower 48 United States and Hawaii (with a few exceptions, including California). Successful applicants will need to have or obtain Ohio and Florida licensure, state licenses for our contract sites, as well as their state of residency.
