Job description

Austin Radiological Association (ARA) is seeking Pediatric Radiologists to join their growing pediatric section in Austin, Texas. This exceptional opportunity offers a close-knit team environment for pediatric specialists providing advanced imaging and procedural care to children throughout Central Texas. With over 90% pediatric cases, you can maintain a true pediatric focus while benefiting from the clinical variety, resources, and subspecialty support of one of the country's most established radiology practices.

Responsibilities

  • Pediatric body imaging
  • Pediatric CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiographs
  • Pediatric fluoroscopy
  • Emergency and acute-care pediatric imaging

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $500,000-$1,000,000

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
  • Weekday daytime shifts: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Protected one-hour lunch break
  • Weekend/holiday coverage: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Evening coverage: 4:00 PM-10:30 PM
  • Call and holiday responsibilities shared evenly across the pediatric section
  • At-home pager coverage for pediatric fluoroscopy procedures
  • Overnight pediatric diagnostic coverage provided by a contracted teleradiology service

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
  • Completion of a Pediatric Radiology fellowship or CAQ in Pediatric Radiology
  • Pediatric Interventional Radiology experience/training welcomed
  • Comfortable interpreting a broad range of pediatric imaging
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
  • Current fellows and residents are encouraged to apply
