Job description

Charlotte Radiology is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist to join our growing Pediatric Imaging section in Charlotte, NC. This partnership-track opportunity offers the unique ability to practice 100% pediatric radiology in a private practice setting while working alongside a collaborative team of fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists at Levine Children's Hospital, one of the Southeast's premier quaternary pediatric referral centers.
Physicians enjoy the academic complexity of a major children's hospital-including multidisciplinary collaboration, resident and medical student education, teaching opportunities, and a broad spectrum of pediatric pathology-while benefiting from the compensation, flexibility, and stability of one of the nation's largest private radiology practices. Based primarily at Levine Children's Hospital, the successful candidate will practice within a 240-bed quaternary pediatric referral center with comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty services. A hybrid practice model combines onsite collaboration with remote interpretation opportunities, supported by a practice-provided home workstation and advanced technology infrastructure.
Position Highlights:
  • Partnership-track opportunity with a two- or three-year pathway based on experience.
  • 100% pediatric subspecialty imaging within a private practice model.
  • Hybrid schedule combining onsite and remote interpretation opportunities.
  • Practice primarily at Levine Children's Hospital, a 240-bed quaternary pediatric referral center.
  • Interpret the full spectrum of pediatric imaging, including radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
  • Opportunity to collaborate closely with pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists in a highly multidisciplinary environment.
  • Participate in resident and medical student education through our partnership with Atrium Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine - Charlotte.
  • Overnight and weekend evening pediatric imaging coverage provided by a dedicated team of board-certified pediatric teleradiologists.
  • Partner compensation exceeds the 90th percentile for private practice radiology.
  • More than 12 weeks of vacation annually for partners.

Position Requirements:
  • ABR certified or ABR eligible.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology.
  • CAQ certified or CAQ eligible in Pediatric Radiology.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care, physician collaboration, and teamwork.
