A Full Stack Web Developer in Europe is a technology professional skilled in both front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) web development. They are capable of building complete web applications, handling everything from designing user interfaces to managing databases and server infrastructure. In Europe, these developers may also need to be familiar with local regulations such as GDPR for data privacy. Full Stack Web Developers are in high demand across European tech companies, startups, and multinational organizations.

How does a full stack web developer in Europe typically collaborate with cross-functional teams during a project?

Full Stack Web Developers in Europe often work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Collaboration usually involves participating in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews. Developers are expected to communicate technical concepts clearly, provide feedback on user interface designs, and integrate front-end and back-end components efficiently. Remote or hybrid work environments are common, so strong digital communication skills are valuable for seamless teamwork.

Job description

Dynamic Sealing Technologies (DSTI) is looking to hire a full-time Full Stack Applications Developer

Build solutions that matter. We are a technology driven, global manufacturer serving the defense, energy, and industrial markets. We're looking for a Full Stack Applications Developer to build, integrate and support business critical web applications that have a direct impact across the organization.

You work closely with business users, our Epicor Administrator, and a collaborative IT team to turn operational needs into effective technology solutions. You'll develop modern web applications, build system integrations, and help extend our Epicor environment to better support the business. If you enjoy full stack development, solving real-world business problems, owning your work, and seeing your work make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

  • Build Internal tools: Design, develop, and support web-based tools and applications that improve how teams across the organization work, access information, and manage business processes.
  • Turn business needs into solutions: Work directly with users to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities, then translate those needs into practical technical solutions and requirements.
  • Develop Full Stack Applications: Build intuitive front-end experiences, backend services, APIs, and database- driven applications that support day-to-day business operations.
  • Connect Business Systems: Develop integrations between internal applications, Epicor, databases, and manufacturing systems to improve the flow of information across the organization.
  • Automate and Improve Processes: Identify opportunities to replace manual processes, and repetitive tasks with reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Own What You Build: Take applications from discovery and design through development, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Build for the Long Term: Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to testing, code reviews, documentation, source control, security, and development best practices.
  • Support and Improve Applications: Troubleshoot issues, improve application performance and reliability, and continuously refine solutions based on user feedback and changing business needs.

What you'll bring:

  • 1-5+ Years of professional full stack, web application, or development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing web-based applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP or similar backend language
  • Experience with modern front-end and/or backend application frameworks
  • Experience designing and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Git, REST APIs, and application integrations
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate user needs into functional software solutions
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
