Remote

Blu Omega is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a CDC public health data modernization program. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for full stack web application development across front-end and back-end components. The position requires experience supporting web application development within a mission-driven environment.

Blu Omega supports a CDC public health data modernization program delivering web application capabilities that support mission needs.


Key Details

Location: Remote
Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination


Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications using React and TypeScript.

  • Integrate front-end and back-end components using C#, .NET, and SQL/PostgreSQL.

  • Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to maintain code quality and support secure deployments.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance; recommend design and architectural improvements.

  • Support application development and deployment within AWS and other cloud environments.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to solution design discussions.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications

  • Experience building or integrating applications using coding-based GenAI capabilities

  • Experience with Java, Python, .NET, React, or other modern frontend framework

  • Experience with SQL databases (Postgres preferred) and familiarity with NoSQL technologies

  • Experience working in an Agile scrum team

  • Ability to use back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with software engineering

  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization

  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

  • Masterโ€™s degree


Compensation

Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
