Job description

***An active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED. Please do not apply if you currently do not possess this level of clearance.***
Are you a Full Stack Developer who is ready for aย new challengeย that willย launch your careerย to the next level?

  • Tired of being treated like a company drone?
  • Tired of promised adventures during the hiring phase, then dropped off on a remote contract and never seen or heard from the mothership again?
  • Our engineers were certainly tired of the same.ย ย

At GliaCell our slogan is โ€œWe make It happenโ€.

  • We will immerse you in the latest technologies.
  • We will develop and support your ownย personalized training program to continue your individual growth.ย
  • We will provide you withย work that mattersย with our mission focused customers, and surround you withย a family of brilliant engineers.ย

Culture isnโ€™t something you need to talk aboutโ€ฆif it just exists.ย

If thisย sounds interesting to you, then weโ€™d like toย have a discussion regarding your next adventure!ย If you want to be a drone, this isnโ€™t the place for you.

We Make It Happen!

We excel at delivering stable and reliable software solutions using Agile Software Development principles. These provide us the capability to deliver a quick turn-around using interactive applications and the integration of industry standard software stacks.

We Offer:

  • Competitive salaries & bonus opportunities
  • Challenging work you are passionate about
  • Ability to work with some amazingly talented people

Job Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Full Stack Developerย on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

  • Letโ€™s be honest upfront: our requirements are sometimes varied, occasionally vague, and frequently shifting. If a poorly defined feature request makes you want to hide under your desk, this might not be the role for you.
  • But if it makes you want to walk over to the customer, ask, โ€œWhat are you actually trying to do?โ€, and then build a prototype to prove itโ€”you are exactly who weโ€™re looking for.
  • We aren't hiring you to know everything on day one.
  • We are hiring you because you are hungry to learn, driven by new technology, and excited to build tools that provide mission cognizance and workflow automation for critical operations.
  • You will be dropped into customer spaces, surrounded by smart people, and expected to figure things out (while heavily leaning on the senior engineers who are here to mentor you).

Responsibilities:ย

  • Embrace the Blur: Take vague or high-level requirements and turn them into actionable software. Instead of suffering in silence, you will actively visit customers and stakeholders to seek clarification and figure out what they really need.
  • Prototype Fearlessly: Write code, put it in front of users, gather feedback, and iterate. You know that the first version is rarely the final version, and you don't get overly attached to your code.
  • Bother the Seniors: Actively seek out our senior developers to review your code, explain complex architectural decisions, and absorb their hard-earned wisdom (they like it, we promise).
  • Code with AI: Lean heavily into AI-assisted software development tools. We want you to use every modern advantage to multiply your output and learn new paradigms faster.
  • Build Full-Stack Solutions: Write scripts, develop user interfaces, and build out the backend logic to integrate disparate data sources into cohesive, usable tools.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.ย
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Professional/Education experience: 3ย years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree.ย
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.ย
  • Strong communication skills.ย

Required Skills:

  • Development Experience: Youโ€™ve been around the block just enough to know your way around Python and JavaScript, and youโ€™ve built a few things that actually work.
  • A Healthy Relationship with Ambiguity: You don't freeze when the path isn't perfectly paved. You are adaptable, driven by changing requirements, and love playing with new tech.
  • Strong Communication: You are comfortable talking to humans, not just machines. You can ask good questions and actively listen to the answers.
  • The Basics: Comfortable navigating Linux environments and using Git without accidentally deleting the main branch.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience playing with agentic AI frameworks or building tools utilizing LLMs.
  • Familiarity with containerization (like Docker) so you can run your prototypes smoothly.
  • Any exposure to or interest in the SIGINT or CNO (Computer Network Operations) mission spaces.
