Will Fullstack be replaced by AI?

Full Stack Developers perform a range of tasks involving coding, system design, and problem-solving that require critical thinking and adaptability. While AI tools can assist with coding and automation, they are unlikely to fully replace the need for human developers who manage complex projects, understand user needs, and integrate various technologies. Continuous learning and proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and tools remain essential for full stack roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Full Stack Developer Government position, and why are they important?

Experience with tools such as JavaScript, .NET, Java, SQL, cloud platforms, and government-specific systems like FedRAMP-compliant infrastructure is highly valuable, as are certifications in cybersecurity or government IT standards. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities help in navigating complex requirements and working with cross-functional teams. At Intelliforce, we build software for mission environments where speed, usability, and reliability all matter at once. In this role, you will join a fast-moving software engineering team supporting a microservice ecosystem with several user interfaces. You will work closely with the mission and interact with customers daily, helping shape software that solves real problems and delivers value quickly.

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

This role gives you the chance to work on a highly collaborative team where engineers are encouraged to influence system design, not simply code to a ticket. You will partner closely with the tech lead, help solve difficult design challenges, and support a product roadmap that keeps evolving with mission needs. The work blends backend development, customer interaction, testing, deployment support, and architectural thinking, so your impact is visible across the full lifecycle.

At Intelliforce, your work is seen and your ideas carry weight. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long term stability, strong benefits, and a people first culture, and this becomes more than another software role. It is a chance to build mission software with a team that values technical input and fast execution.

Hereโ€™s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include

  • Develop and maintain Java microservice web applications
  • Work closely with the tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap priorities
  • Solve challenging software engineering and design problems

  • Support testing and deployment of production applications
  • Contribute to a collaborative, feature-driven development environment
  • Help shape system design across a microservice ecosystem with multiple user interfaces

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
  • 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical discipline
  • Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelorโ€™s degree

Required Skills

  • Experience with design, debugging, and problem solving in Java
  • Experience with RESTful web applications
  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience interacting with MongoDB or similar database technology
  • Experience with automated testing

Desired Skills

  • Full stack experience including UI development with JavaScript and Vue.js
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Linux administration
  • Experience with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
Compensation Range: $110,000.00 - $141,000.00ย
