Job Summary
Coordinator will have primary responsibilities to support students in career and technical education programs who are participating in credit and noncredit experiential learning and internships on campus. The individual will work closely with Career & Transfer Services to provide job preparation skills to students in Perkins-eligible programs as needed including assessment for job readiness, career exploration, navigation, coaching and job preparation skills training. Goal of position is to increase campus-based experiential learning for CTE students that will expand upon and utilize skills acquired through career and technical programs.
Qualifications - Education
Associates degree.
Qualifications - Experience
Two years of experience in business operations, career services or related field.
Qualifications - Skills
a. Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office products.
b. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
c. Ability to coordinate and manage in-person and web-based career programs and services.
d. Strong human relations skills, team orientation and supervisory experience preferred.
e. Ability to work with students, faculty and employers to build relationships and improve effectiveness.
