Overview responsibilities:
  • Encourages guests' engagement in camp activities through own participation
  • Maintains a resort-like environment for persons served, other team members and visitors
  • Remains on call throughout the day to assist in multiple areas as help is needed
  • Provides additional coverage for cabin staff members as needed
  • Provide additional support in keeping up the property, including but not limited to cutting grass and trimming hedges.
  • Cares for guests by assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting (including incontinent care), feeding, repositioning, and basic first aid as needed
  • Facilitates guest choice in daily living and activities by providing variety and information on available choices
  • Ensures that camp safety regulations for guests and fellow staff members are followed
  • Ensures that daily activity schedule is followed
  • Stays on-site for scheduled night duty periods during camp season to ensure availability to meet guests' needs during their stay at camp
  • Completes cabin documentation (including initial screening forms, clothing forms, guest evaluations, memory book, and others) during each camp session
  • Completes housekeeping duties on a daily basis to ensure a clean and safe environment, and keeps all hazardous chemicals locked and away from guests

Qualifications Required:
  • 18 years of age or older required
  • High School Diploma
  • Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship now or in the future
  • Lifeguard certified preferred
