Summary:

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Fuel Pricing Analyst to join our innovative Supply & Logistics team in our Store Support Center in Nashville TN. The Fuel Pricing Analyst is responsible for aiding in street fuel pricing at our retail and consigned convenience stores. Maximizes volume and margin targets across all business segments, ensures pricing is accurate and timely, and requires a high degree of collaboration and reporting across internal business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the fuel pricing process, including setting daily prices, sending customer price notifications, ensuring costs are imported timely and accurately into the back office, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage store pricing activities, from data collection to analysis to execution.
  • Manages street pricing for Consigned and Retail outlets ensuring volume and margin are optimized by site.
  • Create, socialize, and evolve company fuel pricing strategy and tactics.
  • Analyze multiple factors such as competitor surveys, store strategies, marketing conditions, and key performance indicators to set the daily fuel pricing strategies and competitor landscapes for all regions.
  • Perform routine field visits to maintain awareness of marketplace factors and changes.
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with all operations management in the designated markets along with Supply & Logistics teams to forecast demand and optimize pricing strategy.
  • Monitors individual store performance through reporting tools and regularly reports on results and provides action plans for improvement to senior leadership.
  • Effectively leverage technology to support strategy and execution.
  • Coordinates closely with IT and Fuel Accounting teams ensuring pricing systems and processes are optimized.
  • Reviews energy markets, global events, and sales trends to optimize pricing strategy and identify market arbs.
  • Ensures effective reporting of volume and margin results to internal partners.
  • Supports acquisition activities by ensuring fuel pricing of acquired business is integrated into TSEs model.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of fuel/petroleum pricing market experience.
  • Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.
