Their main role is to help families in subsidized housing achieve economic independence by connecting them with resources such as job training, education, childcare, and financial counseling. FSS Coordinators develop individualized plans with participants, monitor their progress, and provide ongoing guidance and support. Familiarity with client management databases, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite is typically required. Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills help build trust with clients and coordinate resources effectively. These skills are essential for supporting families toward self-sufficiency and ensuring compliance with program requirements.

How does an FSS Coordinator typically collaborate with residents and partner agencies in their daily work?
