We are currently looking for aFood Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position will lead the Food Safety charge as we complete a large-scale expansion and position ourselves for substantial growth!The Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Supervisorwillleaddaily food safety and quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. As we complete a large-scale expansion, the Quality Assurance Supervisor will play a vital role in strengthening our commitment to product excellence and operational growth.

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate and execute quality assurance activities, including internal audits, training,purchasingreviews, and compliance monitoring.

  • Monitor and verify HACCP plan Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring adherence toestablishedpolicies and procedures.

  • Conduct GMP and sanitation audits across production and warehouse areas.

  • Collaborate with operations and sanitation personnel to address and resolve quality and safety concerns.

  • Manageproductholds, releases, and dispositions in compliance with company protocols.

  • Evaluate damaged products and determineappropriate correctiveactions.

  • Assist the FSQAManagerin developing and implementing the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program.

  • Support FDA compliance by contributing to the development and enforcement of regulatory guidelines.

  • Oversee equipment calibration, validation, and verification for food safety systems.

  • Ensure sanitation procedures are followed consistently tomaintainfood safety and product integrity.

  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation related to audits, quality checks, and corrective actions.

  • Lead or support root cause investigations and followthrough withpreventative or corrective measures.

  • Prepare for andparticipatein regulatory inspections and third-party audits.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production efficiency and team performance.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GEDrequired,bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance supervisory or management role, preferably within the food processing or manufacturing industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of Food Safety Guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safe food handling procedures.

  • Strong understanding of HACCP principles and implementation.

  • Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and basic computer applications.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, andlift upto 50 lbs. during quality and sanitation inspections.

  • Work is performed in a production facility with exposure to varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions.

  • Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) isrequiredin designated areas.
