Job description

Job Description The Manager, Industrial Security / FSO is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's industrial security program across multiple locations. This role ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), while providing guidance and oversight to site FSOs and security staff. The position serves as a key liaison with government agencies and internal leadership to protect classified information and maintain facility clearances. Key Responsibilities * Oversee and manage the industrial security program for multiple facilities, ensuring full compliance with NISPOM and related requirements * Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to site FSOs and security personnel * Maintain and administer facility security clearances (FCLs) and personnel security clearances (PCLs) * Serve as primary interface with government agencies (e.g., DCSA) for inspections, audits, and ongoing compliance * Develop, implement, and standardize security policies, procedures, and best practices across all locations * Conduct internal security audits and assessments; lead corrective actions as needed * Ensure proper handling, safeguarding, storage, and transmission of classified information and materials * Oversee insider threat, security education, and training programs * Support classified contract execution, including DD254 reviews and security guidance to program teams * Manage incident reporting, investigations, and resolution of security violations * Maintain accurate records and systems (e.g., DISS, NISS) in accordance with regulatory requirements * Partner with HR, IT, and Legal to ensure integrated security compliance Experience and Skills Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required * 5-10+ years of industrial security experience, including FSO responsibilities * Experience overseeing multiple locations or programs strongly preferred * In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and related security regulations * Prior experience supporting classified programs and government contracts * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Clearance Requirement * Active DoD Top Secret clearance, with ability to maintain clearance Preferred Qualifications * FSO certification and/or completion of DCSA training courses * Experience with DISS, NISS, and other security systems * Experience managing audits and inspections with successful outcomes Key Competencies * Leadership and team development * Attention to detail and compliance focus * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations * Effective communication with both internal stakeholders and government representatives Job Benefits * Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Coverage * Life/ADD & Short/Long Term Disability Insurance * 401(k) Savings Plan * Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) * Paid Time-Off (PTO) * Holidays * Education Reimbursement
