Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a customer-first culture.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, product location, and special requests.
  • Support department sales goals through effective merchandising and product availability.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure merchandise displays are attractive, fully stocked, and aligned with company standards.
Department Operations
  • Oversee daily stocking, rotation, and replenishment of frozen food products.
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize out-of-stocks and excess inventory.
  • Ensure proper product rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.
  • Verify product quality, package integrity, and code-date compliance.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory control processes.
  • Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and operational standards.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop department associates.
  • Assign work responsibilities and monitor productivity.
  • Provide direction and support during daily operations.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service.
  • Assist with onboarding and development of new associates.
  • Serve as department lead during assigned shifts.
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor freezer temperatures and proper product storage procedures.
  • Ensure associates follow workplace safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Support shrink reduction and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental audits and corrective action plans as needed.
Merchandising & Inventory Management
  • Execute merchandising plans, display programs, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and promotional displays.
  • Maintain product presentation standards throughout the department.
  • Monitor sales trends and inventory movement to optimize product availability.
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Support department profitability through effective inventory management and shrink control.
