Job Purpose:
  • The Frozen Food Clerk at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience by maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness in the frozen food department. This role involves stocking, organizing, and managing the frozen food section while providing outstanding customer service and adhering to safety and sanitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Stock and replenish frozen food items on shelves, ensuring products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
  • Build and maintain eye-catching displays to promote sales and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Maintain department quality and cleanliness standards by regularly cleaning shelves, freezers, and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure accurate signage and pricing labels are displayed for all products.
  • Organize and clean the storage freezer to ensure products are stored safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Rotate products using the FIFO (first in, first out) method to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
