Job description

Apple is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Leader to define, drive, and execute the Worldwide Enterprise Strategy for the Retail industry. This role is designed for a senior retail industry executive who has operated at scale, led complex transformation, influenced board-level technology decisions, and understands firsthand the realities of modern retail, from store operations and omnichannel experiences to frontline enablement, loss prevention, customer engagement, and enterprise platform decisions.
This is not a traditional sales role. It is a high-impact strategy and ecosystem leadership role that shapes how Apple engages with the global Retail sector, from the world’s largest retailers to the long tail of specialty and regional merchants. The role will be responsible for maximizing Apple’s significant addressable opportunity in Retail by developing a disciplined direct and partner-led coverage model, driving Apple platform standardization, and creating scalable global growth without disproportionate sales headcount expansion.
The ideal candidate brings deep Retail industry credibility, strong enterprise technology fluency, and the ability to translate market insight into actionable strategy, executive engagement, partner motions, and measurable business outcomes.
Description
As Senior Leader, Worldwide Enterprise Strategy for Retail, you will develop and champion Apple’s global enterprise strategy for the Retail sector. You will identify the highest-value opportunities across the market, build the strategic playbook for direct and partner-led coverage, and align Apple’s cross-functional teams around a clear plan to capture the estimated $24 to $26B annualized hardware revenue opportunity.
You will lead Apple’s strategy for directly engaging the Top 50 global Retail companies, driving Apple platform standardization across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You will also scale coverage across the broader Retail market through channel and partner-led motions, including regional retailers, specialty merchants, and the broader ecosystem of partners, systems integrators, ISVs, and resellers.
This role requires someone who can sit credibly with CIOs, CISOs, COOs, CDOs, and senior business leaders because they have lived the challenges of retail transformation from the inside. You will bring a strong point of view on how Apple can become the trusted enterprise endpoint, frontline experience platform, and secure device identity layer for Retail organizations globally.
You will partner closely with Apple’s Industry Leadership, Enterprise Sales, Retail Partner Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure Apple’s Retail strategy is clear, executable, and globally scalable.","responsibilities":"Leadership and Influence: Directly lead a small, multi-geo team of ecosystem experts while indirectly influencing a broad cross-functional group of Apple teams required to execute the global Retail strategy. Partner Ecosystem Growth: Develop and scale partner-led coverage motions for the broader Retail market, including regional retailers, specialty merchants, and long-tail enterprise opportunities. Build vertical playbooks such as “Apple for Regional Retail,” along with deployment reference architectures, partner certification programs, financing and lifecycle simplification models, and co-marketing initiatives.
Platform Standardization and Value Proposition: Position Apple as the secure enterprise endpoint, frontline experience platform, and trusted device identity layer for Retail organizations. Create repeatable reference architectures and value propositions that help customers understand how Apple can support productivity, security, customer engagement, and operational transformation.
