As a Front-End Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties: JOB DESCRIPTION The Front-End Software Engineer will design and develop complex new software products, or make significant enhancements to existing software.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with significant experience in building modular, reusable components and features. They must have extensive, firsthand technical expertise in a modern front-end framework. They must be at ease working in an Agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Build reusable components that align with the system design patterns. * Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. * Participate in team design and code reviews. * Collaborate with a small team of engineers and designers to understand business requirements and user experience goals. * Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. * Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. * Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. * 8 to 10 years of related software development experience.
