Familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular, version control systems such as Git, and responsive design tools is typically required. We're looking for a strategic and detail-oriented media planner who can support our growing brand marketing team at Front. You'll own and evolve our strategy for how our multi-million-dollar brand marketing budget is deployed across the media mix. Reporting into Front's Director of Brand and Communications, you'll serve as the connective tissue between our creative and performance marketing agencies and our in-house team.
This isn't a "come in and build from scratch" role-we have a strategy and a foundation. Take the baton, sharpen what's working, and proactively bring new thinking to the table. You'll write a thoughtful POV on a new channel one day and cold-email podcast hosts to negotiate sponsorship terms the next.
What you'll do:
  • Own media budget allocation and pacing across all channels
  • Translate data and insights into optimization opportunities
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify untapped channels and opportunities to reach Front's propsects
  • Build and present media plans, including channel rationale, reach/frequency projections, and expected business outcomes
  • Manage relationships with media vendors, negotiate rates, and evaluate new inventory opportunities
  • Roll up your sleeves on execution: sourcing and vetting sponsorship opportunities, reaching out to partners directly, managing logistics end to end
  • Partner with our creative and performance marketing agencies to ensure campaigns are briefed, built, and optimized correctly

What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of media planning or buying experience, ideally for a B2B and/or SaaS brand (agency or in-house)
  • Experience planning and buying sponsorships in channels like newsletters, podcasts, industry events, or communities
  • Highly organized, with strong judgment about where to focus time across competing priorities
  • An informed POV on what's measurable, what isn't, and how to make the case for brand investment in a new channel
  • Excellent written communication. You can write a crisp channel strategy doc and a cold outreach email with equal care.

What we offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Equity (we are post-series D & backed by some of the best VCs in the US)
  • Private health insurance, including plan options at no cost to employees
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Flexibility to work from home 3 days/week (unless posted as a full-remote role)
  • Mental health support with Workplace Options
  • Family planning support with Maven
  • $100 per month Lifestyle Stipend to spend on fitness, health and wellness, and other activities
  • Wellness Days - Fronteers get an additional day off on months with no holidays
  • Winter Break - Our offices are closed from Christmas to New Year's Day!
