Job description

Front is the customer operations platform built for B2B complexity, keeping every team, tool, and customer conversation in sync so companies can scale without losing connection. Others handle simple interactions. Front handles the coordination and context behind complex B2B customer relationships. Over 9,000 companies, including Uber Freight, Navan, and Stripe, rely on Front because it's the only one that can run the operational layer that makes customer-facing work actually succeed.
Backed by Sequoia Capital and Salesforce Ventures, Front has raised $204M from leading venture capital firms and independent investors including top executives at Atlassian, Okta, Qualtrics, Zoom, and PagerDuty. Front has received numerous Great Place to Work accolades, including Built In's 100 Best Midsize Places to Work in SF 2025, Top Places to Work by USA Today 2025, Y Combinator's list of Top Companies in 2023, #4 on Fortune's Best Workplaces in the Bay Areaโ„ข ,Inc. Magazine's 2022 Best Workplaces list, and Forbes Best Startup Employers 2022 List.
At Front, we're building the modern customer operations platform that powers high-stakes, high-volume communication for thousands of businesses.
As we scale, our Developer Platform is how we make building on Front faster, safer, and more consistent for customers, partners, and our own developers. We build the tools for developers to build confidently on Front (APIs, MCP server, webhooks, SDKs, developer portal, and tooling).
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead key bets across Developer Platform. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and internal customers, translating real developer pain into a clear roadmap, crisp requirements, and measurable outcomes. This role is for a builder who loves enabling other builders - someone who can balance platform strategy with pragmatic execution and a high bar for quality.
What will you be doing?
  • Own Front's API, MCP, and AI connectivity strategy - including how external AI agents and systems interact with Front
  • Partner deeply with engineering to define platform primitives (APIs, webhooks, SDKs, developer portal, tooling) that are scalable, secure, easy to adopt, and tied to real world use cases
  • Identify, prioritize, and solve the highest-leverage customer pain points through a mix of discovery, data, and hands-on feedback loops with the developers who build on Front
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders (product, engineering, partnerships, security, data, infrastructure) and make clear tradeoffs to keep teams moving with velocity
  • Define success metrics and build mechanisms to measure and iterate

What skills and experience do you need?
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technical products or platform-style initiatives
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort working with APIs, developer tooling, and system design concepts (you can partner credibly with senior engineers)
  • Proven ability to drive ambiguous, cross-functional work from problem definition through execution and adoption
  • Strong prioritization instincts and a bias toward impact: you know when to invest in foundations vs. ship a pragmatic iteration
  • Experience using data to guide decisions (instrumentation, funnels, usage metrics), paired with qualitative discovery
  • AI fluency: you actively leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, synthesis, and execution, and you can evaluate where AI meaningfully improves developer workflows

Front operates on a hybrid model - we come together in the office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to collaborate and stay connected.
What we offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Equity (we are post-series D & backed by some of the best VCs in the US)
  • Private health insurance, including plan options at no cost to employees
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Flexibility to work from home Monday and Friday, unless posted as a fully remote role
  • Mental health support with Workplace Options
  • Family planning support with Maven
  • $100 per month Lifestyle Stipend to spend on fitness, health and wellness, and other activities
  • Wellness Days - Fronteers get an additional day off on months with no holidays
  • Winter Break - Our offices are closed from Christmas to New Year's Day!
