Job description

We are a long standing Pediatric office and we are looking for dedicated Front Office Associates. We are a busy office with a passion for helping families, especially children.

Our Front Office Associate generally serves as a first line contact for our parent and patient population providing the first impression of our customer service, it being the focus for this role. The position handles a variety of tasks such as taking inbound calls, booking amp; confirming appointments, appointment check-in and -out. The employee will work closely with other departments, also providing great internal customer service, in a supportive role helping to round out great patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Schedule and check patients in using PM/EMR system.
  2. Answer a multi-line phone system, screen calls, take messages, and provide information.
  3. Obtain, verify and update patient information and provide support services to patients and medical staff.
  4. Verify insurance information.
  5. Collect co-pays and patient balances.
  6. Scan documentation into patient charts.
