Job description

Front End Managers are responsible for overseeing all front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient checkout performance, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This position supervises front-end associates, maintains cash control and security, and helps create a clean, organized, and customer-focused shopping environment.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor all front-end operations, including cashiers, courtesy clerks, and customer service personnel.
Assist in coordinating lane coverage, register pick-ups, and front-end workflow to maintain efficient checkout operations.
Maintain security and accountability of all safes, tills, change funds, keys, combinations, and company assets.
Count and balance safes during scheduled shifts according to company procedures.
Ensure all cash handling, deposits, pickups, and banking procedures are completed accurately and securely.
Approve and monitor check cashing, tendering, and refund procedures in accordance with company policy.
Promote customer participation in the Naifeh's program.
Monitor and enforce company coupon handling procedures.
Monitor front-end supply usage and inventory levels.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the front end, including:
Clean checkout stands and customer service areas
Clean storefronts and entrance areas
Ensure adequate cart availability at all times
Enforce company dress code and name tag policies.
Follow and enforce all company policies regarding rental equipment and customer service transactions.
Know, follow, and enforce all federal, state, and local laws regarding:
Alcohol and tobacco sales
WIC/EWIC processing
Debit/Credit/EBT/Gift Card transactions
Tax exempt purchases
Assist in maintaining inventory levels for front-end merchandise, candy racks, and customer service items.

Support checkout operations by assisting cashiers and helping keep checkout lines moving efficiently.
Assist customers and associates as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong communication, cash handling, organizational, and customer service skills required.
