Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and solution-oriented Senior Account Manager to be responsible for multiple client accounts and who can:

  • Independently assess current business processes, identify capability gaps, gain business-ITย alignment, develop future state strategy & solution vision
  • Apply advanced analytics and data management knowledge to provide insights for clients' critical business decisions like identification of key performance indicators and align with business strategy
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical client teams in driving business case development; user needs assessment workshops, technical solution vision, and roadmap development
  • Lead the program management workstream and development of integrated project plan; manage client expectations by driving communications; proactively identify project risks and mitigation strategies
  • Manage and advise the need assessment and requirement gathering process by meeting with stakeholders to define the business and functional requirements following user-centric design best practices
  • Drive adoption and change management activities during inception, UAT, and post-implementation phases
  • Oversee and guide the development of project outputs such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mock-up, prototypes, and technical architecture
  • Advice on critical business process enhancements based on experience/best practices, business knowledge, and gaps in current vs. future state
  • Coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective and data domain to inform project decisions
  • Coach and mentor teams, conduct & develop training programs to contribute to capacity building and knowledge sharing in the assigned capabilities area
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant consulting industry experience in life sciences
  • Experience in IT implementation, deployment (with business/domain focus) data management, and program management
  • Record of successful and continued business development
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence others
  • Experience in managing clients and project teams on technology and data management strategy
  • Experience leading the delivery of one or multiple projects
  • Experience working with front-end user reporting, back-end database management and ETL interfacing and pharmaceutical domain knowledge

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to work within a virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects
  • Knowledge of current data modeling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends in the business intelligence (BI) domain
  • Experience in data warehousing, architectural design, dimensional modeling (star schema), ETL, and data migration
  • Help with the selling processes like writing proposals and giving product demos
  • Significant supervisory, coaching, and hands-on project management skills
  • Deep understanding of data management best practices and data analytics
  • Up to speed with the latest technologies in reporting, data warehousing, and data management; experience with conversational analytics products is a plus
  • Deep understanding of client business concerns to lead translation into technical inputs and analytical outputs
  • Proven relationship-building skills with clients and across functional areas
  • Experience in deploying with NLP and AI analytics-based products/solutions
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks and presentations
