Job description

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

  1. Working front desk
  2. Full time sales associate will need a flexible schedule and the ability to work at least 1 weekend day. Part time sales associate will work only weekends and/or evenings.
  3. Communications with clients for all their booking and account needs Reply to all email/text communications with clients, either sales or account adjustments.
  4. Adjusting and making instructors scheduling with correct payroll, and gathering end of the month payroll totals to give to Manager to put into payroll company.
  5. Managing cash drawer and credit card sales. Collecting weekly cash close out envelope, checking that daily sales numbers are correct, then composing a weekly deposit envelope. If any discrepancies with a Yoga leaders close out will be reported to Marina and then will be discussed together how to handle it.
  6. Participating in regularly scheduled team meetings for development, team building and communication
  7. Maintaining studio cleanliness, laundry, and overseeing studio maintenance as necessary.
  8. Assisting owners with individual projects as necessary
  9. Excellent sales, communication, and computer customer service skills (must) Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets. Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota.
  10. · Execute full sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closing the sale

  11. Daily, weekly and monthly inbound ( with potential sales prospects) requests via phone, email and in-person booking
  12. Managing Boutique Area & inventory Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills.
  13. Be knowledgeable about products, programs and pricing. Input all inventory and do weekly Stock inventory check which with a reports run to verify if numbers match with the stock. If not a weekly loss spread sheet must be maintained hand into our accountant.
  14. Previous Experience with booking software is a plus. If not Ability to learn and use the Wellness Living software system and email marketing system.
  15. Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  16. Strong attention to detail.

Front Desk Training Overview:

Front Desk Training is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role as a member of our front desk team. The training comprises 5-10 ( non paid) shadow sessions led by our experienced front desk leads or managers.

Before embarking on your front desk duties, you will undergo 3-6 day training period (for a couple hours post or pre-yoga sessions). During this time, you will receive hands-on instruction on our POS (Point of Sale) system, along with training on essential tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, sales processes, report generation, and other critical software applications.

It's important to note that the training period is unpaid; however, as a token of appreciation for your commitment and dedication, you will have the opportunity to attend our invigorating yoga classes in exchange for your training time.

In addition to the structured training sessions, you will also have the chance to work independently, with the option to consult with Helen ( https://calendly.com/helen-wl/30min?month=2023-05) from Wellness Living for troubleshooting and addressing any queries or concerns you may encounter.

Once you have successfully completed your training and feel confident in your abilities, you will be required to fill out the necessary W-2 forms and submit them to our payroll company. Our payroll is processed promptly, with payments issued by the 7th of every month. If you join us mid-month, your first payroll will be prorated accordingly.
