Description:

The Front Desk Lead is responsible to oversee the front desk staff and the day-to-day operations of the front desk. Provides support for front desk functions and is available to problem solve as needed.

Requirements:

Oversees front desk staff, including training and performance. Includes HR when appropriate.

Oversees all aspects of the front desk including, but not limited to, check-in, check-out, insurance verification, heavy phones, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, etc.

Facilitates training of front desk new hires and other training initiatives as needed for front desk staff. Ensures adequate training is completed.

Acts as backup for front desk when short staffed.

Works closely with other department leads to ensure positive flow of the office and patient experience.

Edits, updates, and approves timecards timely and accurately for assigned employees on a consistent basis according to established pay periods.

Schedules and attends front desk staff meetings.

Maintains office supply inventory and orders additional supplies as needed.

Updates front desk processes and procedures as needed and communicates the change to front desk staff in a timely manner.


This position requires a minimum 2 years of Medical Front Desk experience, supervisory experience preferred.
