Job description

The Easton Newberry Archery Centeris a state-of-the-art archery center, featuring indoor and outdoor ranges, and world-class training facilities.The center provides leadership, facilities, programs, training and education that allows archers to pursue their competitive dreams.

Overview:As the front desk assistant, you will be the first point of contact for the Easton Newberry Archery Center. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the center. You will also field phone calls and answer basic questions. To be successful as the front desk assistant, you should have a pleasant personality, this is a customer service role. In addition, you will assist with basic tasks around the center to ensure all operations function smoothly. Including but not limited to routine maintenance, event facilitation and program operations.


Hours: 40hours per week, including weekdays and weekends


Compensation:Hourly: $16.00 - $18.00 an hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

  • Offer friendly, high-quality service at the front desk:
  • Welcome and direct guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in customers upon arrival and maintain daily schedule of archery ranges
  • Assist with collection of customer forms, i.e., waivers and agreements
  • Greet and direct vendors upon their arrival
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Become knowledgeable with customer registration software
  • Register customers for daily appointments
  • Collection of payments
  • Assist with daily exposure/engagement updates
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Generate social media content when tasked to do so
  • Perform other office duties as needed and assigned

Event and Program Support:

  • Assist customers with event, program, and group registrations
  • Conduct new customer orientations when needed
  • Answer basic questions regarding events and programs and field all other inquiries


Facility:

  • Assist along with all other staff, basic tasks to keep the center functioning as efficiently as possible
    • Aid with maintenance projects when tasked to do so
    • Aid with inventory projects when tasked to do so
    • Other tasks as directed

    Key Qualifications:

    • Customer service experience.
    • Excellent communication, prioritization, time-management, and organization skills.
    • Cash/credit card handling experience.
    • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
    • Must be able to work well with children, adults, and special needs persons.
    • Must be able to work all scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours as needed.
    • Knowledge of MS Office suite and general knowledge of daily office operations and equipment.
    • Ability to work in an English-speaking environment.
    • Maintain good attendance and punctuality on job.
    • Possess a valid driver's license.
