Full time Family Practice / Internal Medicine in a multi-specialty clinic in Chicago

Location: West Loop, Chicago

Schedule: Outpatient only, Monday-Friday 9:40-6pm

If you are looking to maximize your time outside of medicine, this is an ideal opportunity. The clinic is open Monday through Friday and does not require assigned call or hospital duties. Our excellent RNs take on call on nights/weekends. The practice is located within the city and provides a great location for anyone hoping to live and work in the city or a nearby suburb, facilitated by its proximity to I-290.

The patients served are primarily Spanish (~75%) and Polish or English speaking (~25%). All of our support staff are bilingual in Spanish or Polish.

Candidate would join a group of four family physicians, and a part time Pediatrician. We have one NP on staff for same day visits. Physicians are scheduled approximately 16-19 patients per day. On average most of us see 15-18 per day pending the no show rate. Skill with simple procedures are appreciated but not required. There is an opportunity to tailor your schedule if you prefer more procedural time (i.e. IUD, OM, skin procedures) or desire to dedicate certain slots to a specific focus (women's health, for example).

The clinic includes an in-house pharmacy, X-ray and Ultrasound department, Lab, Physical Therapy suite, Optometry clinic, and a full service Dental clinic. We bring in specialists to our clinic weekly, including ENT, Ob/Gyn, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Urology, ENT, and Ophthalmology, which allows us to coordinate patient care efficiently. We do not do any Occupational health.
