Warranty Inspector

The Warranty Inspector will be expected to ask questions when they are uncertain of findings and communicate issues they find with our processes and various systems. The WI will experience transmission builders with broad familiarity with a variety of different transmission families. ETE is looking for someone who has the desire and capability to continuously learn new information about transmissions as well as new systems used to perform inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate discovery of components within units that are not listed in the family inspectable component lists
  • Use Trello to communicate specific issues to and tag appropriate Trello users
  • Use of Salesforce inspection system to record findings
  • Teardown and inspection of 4-5 transmissions per day
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Examines and inspects defects of the transmission and determines cause of failure.
  • Understands basic theory and operation of the Transmission.
  • Perform administrative and other Quality related support tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Transmission building and/or inspecting experience
  • Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, and decision-making skills
  • Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
  • Must embrace ETE's core values.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of basic computer systems, including email systems
  • Willingness and commitment to continued education
