Job description

Clayton Services is searching for a Warranty Specialist - 1st Shift to join a thriving manufacturing company in North Houston. The Warranty Specialist - 1st Shift will be responsible for managing warranty claims, coordinating replacement parts, and serving as a key point of contact between vendors, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely resolution of warranty-related issues.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Benefits: Excellent benefits available after the successful completion of the temporary period, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM w/ 30-min lunch
Warranty Specialist - 1st Shift Responsibilities:


  • Manage, document, and track warranty claims submitted to equipment manufacturers and suppliers
  • Coordinate replacement parts orders and monitor delivery timelines to support production and customer commitments
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of commonly used warranty components
  • Follow up with vendors to resolve open claims, discrepancies, and delays
  • Review warranty documentation and repair orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures
  • Inspect incoming equipment and completed products for visible defects or warranty-related issues
  • Process corrections or revisions to warranty claims as needed
  • Conduct routine audits of open and closed warranty claims to ensure proper resolution
  • Communicate regularly with internal departments and external customers regarding claim status and scheduling updates
  • Confirm receipt and return of warranty parts between customers and vendors
  • Prioritize incoming requests to meet service expectations and operational deadlines
  • Accurately record time worked using the company's timekeeping system
  • Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned
