Job description

Currently looking for a Controller role where you can make a visible impact while working directly with ownership. This is an opportunity to lead the accounting function for a stable, family-oriented construction company with strong leadership access and long-term growth potential. Experience with ProContractor/Trimble/Viewpoint/Spectrum/Vista accounting software is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities For The Controller
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
  • Manage and review Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes
  • Oversee job costing and project financial reporting
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions
  • Partner with ownership on financial planning and business performance
Qualifications For The Controller
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
  • Construction industry accounting experience required
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Experience with ProContractor/Trimble/Viewpoint/Spectrum/Vista accounting software is a requirement
