In- Home Sleep Study Scheduling Representative
We are seeking a highly organized, patient-focused In-Home Sleep Study Scheduling Representative to join our growing team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients referred for home sleep testing.
The Scheduling Representative is responsible for coordinating appointments, educating patients on the testing process, verifying information, and ensuring a smooth experience from referral to test completion.
The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Responsibilities
  •  Contact patients to schedule in-home sleep studies. 
  •  Explain the sleep testing process and answer patient questions. 
  •  Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and physician referrals. 
  •  Coordinate scheduling according to physician orders and patient availability. 
  •  Assist patients with completing required paperwork and portal enrollment. 
  •  Document all patient interactions accurately within company systems. 
  •  Follow up with patients regarding appointment confirmations, missed appointments, and testing deadlines. 
  •  Collaborate with physicians' offices to obtain missing documentation and resolve scheduling issues. 
  •  Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality. 
  •  Meet established productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction goals.
Qualifications -Required
  •  High school diploma or equivalent. 
  •  Minimum 1 year of customer service, scheduling, call center, or healthcare experience. 
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  •  Excellent phone etiquette and professionalism. 
  •  Ability to multitask while managing multiple software platforms. 
  •  Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Experience in healthcare scheduling, sleep medicine, durable medical equipment (DME), or medical office environments. 
  •  Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes. 
  •  Experience with EMR/EHR systems. 
  •  Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
