Job Description
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit.
Hours: This full-time day shift position will work 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
  • The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
  • This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
  • RN in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • RN in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
The pay range for this position is $38.91 - $58.36. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
