Job description

Job Description: Order Entry Specialist are active, integral members of the organization. They are tasked with promptly accepting reviewed orders and entering them into the system aligned to the appropriate customer account... They are expected to have some years of order entry or customer service experience. He or she are the ones who ensure and maintain a high level of customer service by taking ownership of customer queries and handling order from receipt to the closure of sales. Job Responsibilities: Process orders efficiently and accuratelyApply extra charges, discounts, terms allowance and payments accurately as well as ensuring that all are properly accounted before releasing the orderHandle Customer Inquires by providing order status, delivery dates, and tracking information Document and update customer records based on interactionsFollow up on pending order, by sending emails or contacting the customers via phone Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and servicesWork closely with Salesmen and warehouse staff Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience - Minimum 2-3 year experience in Lighting customer service, data entry or other related fieldsHands on with ERP systems including creating, quotes, entering orders, shipping Strong product knowledge is essential, utilize available resources to cross reference product to meet customer order requirementUnderstands the account management process Ability to prioritize and multitaskPositive and professional demeanorAbility to work in a team environment yet be a self-starter and able to manage own tasks with minimum managementMust be authorized to work in the U.S. Excellent written and verbal communication Additional Information: Compensation is defined as: Hourly Salary70% of company health insurance plan premium paid by the company - eligibility starts the first of the month following 60 days of employment Paid vacation, 5 sick days, and major holiday annually There is a 90-day evaluation probationary period $15.00 - $16.00
