BrightStar Care of Sugar Land / W. Houston / Katy, TXis looking for a Part Time Home Health Nurse Manager interested in working two to three days per week, to join our team. BrightStar Care is proud to offer you the opportunity to pursue your passion as a Registered Nurse at your own level, with flexibility, helping us service our skilled (non-medicare) and non-skilled clients.
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay ranging from $45 - $50 per hour
  • Guarantee of 16 or 24 hours per week (two or three week days)
  • Auto Allowance
  • Some flexibility to fit your lifestyle

Work Setting:
  • Estimated 60% field, 40% office

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform Care as defined by patient's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act.
  • Supervise and lead Nursing Team
  • Perform Living Room Visits with the team
  • Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
  • Conduct chart audits and prepare clinical reports as required
  • Complete and update plans of care
  • Counsel patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
  • Assist with preparing QAPI data
  • Follow up on patient care issues and document accordingly
  • On call as required
  • Educate and train staff and conduct orientation on new staff
  • Adhere to State, Joint Commission, and Brightstar policies and procedures
  • Variety of field assignments (Infusions, injections, wound care, clinical trials & more)

Job Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted RN license in state of Texas
  • Minimum of 3 years of documented experience required
  • Recent Infusion experience preferred
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
  • Clean background and criminal record
  • Negative Pre-Employment Drug Screen
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
