Job description

Taylor County is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) to work the night shift in the Adult Detention Facility (Taylor County Jail).
The LVN/RN dispenses medications, evaluates inmate health care needs, and provides some onsite health care. Applicants will work under direction of Jail Administration and the Medical Provider.
Please provide copy of nursing license by date of hire. Applicants must possess the ability to work with
confidential information and have good moral character.
Qualified applicants will also be subject to an extensive criminal history and background investigation .
This is a full-time position 10-hour shifts working 40 hours per week.

Must be a U.S. citizen

Salary: $67,891.20 annually ($32.64 per hour) + benefits
Benefits include : 100% county-paid employee medical and dental insurance, paid life and
disability insurance, retirement, and paid vacation/sick time
