  • Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
  • Provides direct patient care in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
  • Monitors patients during exercise sessions.
  • Nursing responsibilities focus on the preventive and restorative healthcare needs of the cardiovascular patient. Provides patient education on disease entities, cardiac risk factors, behavior modification.
  • Communicates with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Medical Director and the patient’s physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including laboratory tests and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient’s condition and response to treatment

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from and accredited Exercise Physiologist Program
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience Prefer one year of experience as an Exercise Physiologist in the area of application.
