Responsibilities
AFH Strategy team is part of PepsiCo's broader Strategy network and works globally across PepsiCo's entire portfolio of beverages, snacks and nutrition. Our function plays a critical role in charting PepsiCo's long-term growth and portfolio development, driving both the future of the company and shaping the industry landscape. AFH is a key enabler of PepsiCo's strategy, serving as a source of profitable growth, a vehicle to build our brands, and a transformation accelerator. We are tasked with ensuring the company invests in the assets and capabilities needed to stay ahead of the competition, adapt to market trends, and maintain market leadership. This entails developing actionable solutions for some of the most challenging issues facing the company by influencing brand, innovation, equipment and channel priorities and by undertaking transformational initiatives (e.g., data & analytics, online ordering) to achieve the greatest possible growth and penetration. Our team primarily works across three types of projects: long term strategic planning, annual strategic planning, and growth priorities (e.g., channel / customer strategy, portfolio, etc.).
As a manager in the Away From Home strategy team, your responsibilities would include:
  • Employ solution-oriented mindset to help solve an array of PepsiCo Away From Home's most challenging, business critical, topics
  • Own end-to-end delivery against project objectives, from hypothesis development to final materials
  • Serve as the analytics point-person on projects, applying logical and creative thinking to drive to fact-based insights
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Lead & coach analysts to deliver on-time and complete deliverables
  • Build executive-ready project deliverables in partnership with project leaders
  • Assist in the planning and execution of key Away From Home projects (e.g., Segment growth strategy, Category strategy, Technology transformation etc.)
  • Execute against time-sensitive requests from the Away From Home Global President, SVP- Strategy, and cross-functional business partners
  • Provide thought partnership to Away From Home leadership team, business partners and Senior Executives on a broad range of business-critical topics
  • Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / geopolitical trends
  • Contribute to capability building for the entire Global Strategy function (e.g. Recruiting, Training, Knowledge Management, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required (MBA strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of strategy experience either internally or with a Top-Tier consulting firm
  • Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks
  • Excellent technical skills to process large quantities of data in an error-free manner
  • Experience independently running projects
  • High Emotional Intelligence and verbal and written communication skills that educate and influence senior leaders; ability to "manage up"
  • Love of Consumer Packaged Goods and our brands
  • Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences; foreign language skills highly desired
