Job description

Immediate Full-Time Openings
CCL Label Robbinsville, NJ is part of CCL Industries, a world leader in specialty labeling and packaging solutions for our global customers. The Robbinsville location specializes in pressure sensitive labels for home and personal care products.
We are seeking Finishing/Machine Inspectors & Operators to join our finishing department at CCL Label. As a Finishing Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the finishing process of labels, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Shifts Available : 3rd (10pm-6am)
Training will be provided
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor machines to meet production targets.
  • Perform set-up on multiple pieces of complex automated inspection and slitting equipment.
  • Loads labels, press rolls or other printed material into equipment.
  • Monitors and adjusts slitter and AVT system to unwind all bad material from master rolls.
  • Reviews recognized defects, remove and/or replace defects as required according to customer specification.
  • Properly complete all documentation required to track the job.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and follow safety regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Must have the ability to use, read and interpret scientific measurement and inspection tools devices.
  • Team player, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be punctual, have good interpersonal skills and professionalism to interface with all departments.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to Constantly stand, walk, bend, push, pull and reach.
  • Working with hands.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Regularly exposed to moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Must work normal shift hours and overtime as required.
