Are you passionate about fresh, locally sourced ingredients and love working in a close-knit kitchen team? At WSM, we’ve spent 21 years celebrating all things Missouri Made, and we’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Prep team member to join our award-winning small business. With a unique combination of a locally sourced gift shop and a downstairs bistro serving carefully curated lunches, we take pride in providing an unforgettable experience for both locals and tourists alike.

What You'll Do

As a Kitchen Prep team member, you’ll play a crucial role in creating the delicious, fresh lunches our customers rave about. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Prepping lunch ingredients from scratch with care and precision. Must be able to follow directions and recipes already set in place.
  • Baking and crafting unique lunch items using locally sourced products.
  • Setting up and tearing down the kitchen daily, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment.
  • Sharpening knives and maintaining kitchen tools to ensure top-notch performance.
  • Working collaboratively with a small, tight-knit team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Must be able to lift 40-50 pound boxes as needed and stand on feet for long periods of time.
