Job description

The Position


Job Title: Sr. Carrier Capacity Representative

Job Type: Full-time; On-site


Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and qualify asset-based carriers to service recurring lanes and project freight.
  • Execute purchasing strategies that improve margin consistency. You aren't just covering loads; you are buying capacity at the right price point to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Negotiate standing orders and dedicated pricing with carriers, moving relationships from transactional spot-rates to contract rates.
  • Monitor market indices (DAT, FreightWaves, etc.) to ensure our client’s procurement costs remain competitive.
  • Ensure carriers you onboard adhere to service requirements for the specific lanes they service (tracking, equipment quality, on-time performance).
  • Maintain impeccable records in our client’s TMS (Revenova), ensuring carrier profiles, lane preferences, and rate history are accurate and actionable for the broader team.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for the strategic carriers you manage, solving high-level issues that threaten the relationship.

Compensation Details: This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
