Essential Duties:

· Develop new customer & carrier relationships and grow existing ones to maximize opportunity and revenue(lead generation, cold calling, and referrals).

· Build strong working relationships with customers and carriers to achieve proper communication

· Negotiate with customers & carriers to achieve a revenue balance that awards appropriate profit margins

· Manage freight by keeping consistent updates on tracking to ensure on-time delivery

· Maintain ongoing relationships and monitor activities with customers and prospects

· Keep customers informed about any delays and/or information necessary to the shipment.
