About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Import Customs Support to join our growing team in Doral, FL. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career in customs brokerage, logistics, or international trade.

In this role, you will provide administrative and customer support to the Customs team while learning the import clearance process end-to-end. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, energetic, and eager to grow within the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintain organized records, filing systems, and data entry tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries promptly
  • Support daily office operations and administrative functions
  • Assist with tracking shipment status and maintaining proper documentation
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Review import documentation to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Request missing documentation from importers, freight forwarders, steamship lines, or airlines
  • Assist with preparing customs entries for clearance and delivery
  • Generate invoices and maintain required shipment records
  • Follow shipments through final delivery to ensure successful clearance
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or customer service role preferred
  • Strong work ethic with excellent reliability and attention to detail
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
