Freight Tech refers to the use of advanced technology solutions in the freight and logistics industry to improve efficiency, transparency, and connectivity. This includes software platforms, automation tools, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and data analytics that help manage shipping, tracking, warehousing, and delivery processes. Freight Tech is transforming traditional logistics operations by streamlining workflows, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experiences. Companies in this space are driving innovation through digital freight matching, real-time tracking, and optimization of supply chains.

How does a freight tech typically collaborate with logistics and operations teams?

They may participate in daily stand-up meetings, coordinate software rollouts, and provide technical support to ensure smooth integration of freight management systems. This collaborative approach helps optimize routing, track shipments in real time, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for navigating the diverse needs of both technical and non-technical team members.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a freight tech, and why are they important?
